Exploration embodies the belief that limitless possibilities await. It is a journey that leads to knowledge and enlightenment, providing both the chance and the courage to leave a positive mark on the world, just as generations before us have aspired to do. Engage the World Virtual Experiences is your gateway to achieving this noble goal.
Each of our virtual experiences comprises a live, place-based virtual encounter, event recordings, stimulating STEM challenges, opportunities for personal passion projects, an enlightening educational webinar, and connections to valuable lessons. We take pride in spotlighting the unique aspects of each location, its people, and significant events that define it. As the renowned naturalist John Muir aptly noted, "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." We empower students and educators to expand their horizons and discover ways to effect positive change in the world.
The choice of adventure lies with you, while we provide the immersive experience. If you're interested in collaborating with us, please reach out to Dacia Jones at engagingstem@gmail.com for further details. Our package, priced at $4500, includes a 90-minute webinar for educators, guiding them through the experience, establishing standard connections, crafting content, designing STEM challenges, a 30-minute virtual field trip for students, and ongoing coaching to ensure the event's success. Together, we can embark on a journey of exploration and transformation.

Testimonials:
"This VFT was well organized into 4 distinct lessons that could be used as "stand alone" lessons if time was an issue for a teacher. It was presented in an engaging way and modeled how classroom teachers may be able to develop these for themselves to share. This was a wonderful way to introduce a beautiful location to teachers and students who may never have been to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park."- Suzanne DeLay, District Science TSA, Escambia County Schools, FL
"So great to see our teachers inspired and read in the chat how they are adding these places to their “bucket list”. I can’t wait to see and hear how their new knowledge will be used with the students!!"- Denisha Read, District Office Teacher on Special Assignment, Escambia County Schools, FL
"Escambia County teachers had the opportunity to participate in an exciting Virtual field trip at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with tour guide Dacia Jones from Expeditions in Education. Dacia helped teachers get on board their adventure by setting the stage for a real travel experience. The travel itinerary began with obtaining a “passport” for the trip, along with a travel checklist including state standards for teaching, career and literacy connections along with a STEM challenge related to this out of the classroom trip. Then it was on to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where we explored the Indian culture, native wildlife, and an extraordinary synchronous firefly event. As a student in this expedition it was exciting to hear Dacia share her knowledge of the history and nature in this storied National Park. This field trip experience was a real treat as Dacia kept us moving through different locales around the National Park including a Cherokee Indian Reservation, Cades Cove, and various structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. I give the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Virtual Field Trip a rating of Excellent!"
